Wow SS, sounds like it has been a yucky week so far & it's only Wednesday. I was going to suggest the cranberry juice too.....it is great for the UTI's....I don't know the answer about a difference between red or white.....wouldn't think much but you never know.

I can really symphasize with your migraine.....I had migraines (or maybe it was one huge migraine) 24/7 for over 5 years....couldn't get out of bed except to go the the bathroom from the nausea, had to have my room completely dark, quiet, with no smells. Tried all the migraine meds & meds that were supposed to help migraines & any procedure the Dr's could think to do that might have an effect...even neck fusion surgery. Ended up in the ER every 3 days for a 200mg shot of demoral....being accused of being "drug seeking" when I was only "pain relief seeking" Nothing worked until I finally found a pain specialist who was willing to put me on a very high dose of narcotics (duragesic fentynal patches 200ug/hr). At that dose I should be wearing my cloths inside out & backwards, not able to walk a straight line, & should just plain be out of it at the low weight I am at. I have successfully been on that level for 3 years now & I can now function, ride & train for my dressage horse riding, eat things I enjoy again even though I don't eat much anyway, & just plain live again.

I didn't do the clenching thing but grinded my teeth (which I still do).....several broken teeth from that too. Hope your night guard helps your jaws.

Allergies to meds.....I can relate to you on that too. I have about 1/2 page of allergies including things like benedryl (which closes up my breathing) which is supposed to help allergies....penicillan, & even keflex which makes my mouth & tound swell up. The asthma meds cause problems with me too.....albuteral causes my potassium to drop to a dangerous level. Then to top that off, when I was in the hospital last year for asthma, they tried a new med for it (Foradil) & ended up loosing my voice as the reaction to the med. When I was having the migraines I ended up with symptoms of parkinsons...found out that was a reaction to the compazine I was being given for the nausea.

Allergies are the pits aren't they?

I hope your Dr appointment next week will help straighten things out for you..I can really feel for what you are going through right now.....feeling it won't get better & trying so hard to just get by. I really hope you start feeling better soon....will be thinking of you.
Debbie
