So sorry acoolbreeze.

I'm not sure what you have going on or what you have tried already so forgive me if I am off track.

If you are stressed that is definitely going to make it hard to wind down and get your rest. Some people advise not to eat anything with protein like meat or dairy before bed as that takes longer to digest and can keep you awake. Warm Chamomile tea...especially those "Sleepy Time" ones have helped me before. Experts suggest also, of course...limiting your caffeine intake. Watching TV in bed is not recommended....I don't know why, I enjoy it myself

I can't go to bed hungry....so a few crackers to keep my tummy happy helps

It all depends on the circumstances, I guess. Dealing with stress....finding a good "winding down" process is difficult and specific to each individual.

I've had bouts of insomnia and it can be a trying time, for sure. I wish you luck with this.
