I've been dealing with PMDD symptoms for about one year on and off. I was on three different SSRIs at different times. (anti-depressant class of drugs used to treat PMDD.) For me, they did not work, they made me feel much worse. I did stop my birth control pill, I still have symptoms but I have noticed that the episodes last 3-4 days (they used to last a week to 2 weeks.) One thing that helped me is going to a therapist. and when I have more 'anxious episodes' my therapist suggested I do 'kick boxing' or some kind of active activity instead of yoga.

(this website is useful too, i thought) I used the monthly log and showed my doctor that I seem to only be getting the heart palpatations, increased anxiety, depression, etc right before my period.)
