In the US in order to get money for unemployment you have to be able to prove you are ready willing and able to work. So if I am on medical leave then I can not receive unemployment benefits. Since the "fired" me for no fault I am entitled to money. I have to apply today. I am sure my old employer will fight this and my mother in law has hired a lawyer, but we will see what happens. I have a case since they discriminated against me due to my bipolar.
I am diagnosed with ADD, but because of everything else that was going on he was not treating me for the ADD and since I wasn't working it wasn't a big deal now that I am trying to work on my website it is a big deal and I think it is making me manic if that makes sense. Like I start out the day having ADD opening up a up this and that and then not staying on task and then on a day where I was not manic at all I am full on manic with a million things open not knowing what I have done but some how have accomplished a ton of stuff just not all the stuff I needed to do. So yesterday I have a pad of paper out trying to stay on task and still this was so freaking hard and I was not a bit manic, but the ADD was griping me at every turn.
