This is exactly what I have been worried about lately as well. My 60 year old dad was just diagnosed, and as I read about the disorder, so many things in my life have begun to make sense. But, I am nursing my 4 month old baby, and worried about being diagnosed and possibly having to choose between nursing and being medicated. Medication has made a huge difference for my dad, so now I wonder...would I be a better mom if I continued to nurse my son, or would I be a better mom if I were able to focus on and engage with my 2 children? It helps to know someone else out there is maybe having the same issue...because I feel pretty alone.
