Also, Bipolar-I's, tend to have more extreme and even violent manic episodes, and a little more milder (not really mild) depressive episodes. BP-II's suffer from more serious depressive episodes, than BP-I's.
I know it may get confusing, so that is why it is so important to discuss this with the pdoc that made your DX's.
It is not a "one size fits all" sort of DX.
