have u considered going to AA? i found it to be so helpful in helping me stay sober. am 20 years sober now. if i could do it, so can you. lollypop is right, just take it a day at a time, a minute at a time. when you crave the alcohol it's because your sugar level has dropped. alcohol is mainly sugar so eat something, especially sweets like orange juice. eating any food also diminishes the cravings. the first 5 days you may get a shaky feeling. just eat and it will pass. 2 days-you're halfway there. we're here for you. you'll never regret stopping. i do encourage you to consider AA cause it's a great support system. they/we are doing what you're trying to do.
