You story is both interesting and something else? I have been on replacement therapy for 10 years and am 46 currently. Similarly, blood test showed virtually non-detectable levels of T and I was having symptoms also. In my case, I only have one testicle from birth; possibly due to Pthalates in plastics or medications that may have been taken during pregnancy. The low levels are possibly due to having only one, but maybe genetic or due to other environmental causes. Pituitary gland is normal. One problem with Androgel is that it converts to DHT once absorbed into skin tissues and was not effective in my treatment. I was switched over to IM Injection. Your symptoms with the constant erection and being horny all through the day is in my experience related to a surge in T usually experienced within the first three days of dosing and then exceptionally horny again on the back side of the drop prior to the next dosing. It gets so controlling for me that I have to go into the mens room at work and jack off or go out to my car at lunch and jack. Usually with Androgel, you would be receiving a more static/constant level of replacement therapy, unlike the IM injection and would not experience the peaks and valleys and the crazy horny spikes. Because you are, I would recommend that you have your T levels checked to make sure they are not high. High levels of T increase your chances of prostate cancer and elevate your red blood cells which greatly increase your chances of stroke. It puts a tremendous strain on your heart. At 43 your T level even on the higher end of normal, according to medical charts, should be around 500-600 generously!
