my ex had quinea pigs his whole life, one got cancer so his dad took it to some wilderness preserve and released it (I was like omg that's horrible!!!) Then he told me how his mom had let thier quinea pig out to play on a towel on the lawn and forgot about him, his sister ran over him with her car!!!
