I hate it when things come out so wrong. I've done that too,though luckily, not with that type of thing. Sadly, a lot of people feel defensive when so many shows get produced by people who have a kind of shallow view of religion, and think they really know, and then think that the rest of the country shares the view that they and their friends in Burbank in California do So a lot of show get this type of charater that is a nasty charater that espouses religious views, it's easy to mock because the character is not nice, but the views might be held by a lot of actually decient folks and
Poor you. Best you kind of bit your tongue about asking him to leave. You're right. he would have taken it wrong. can you find a way to say something like, " You know, I'm sorry what I said came out so wrong last night. I didn't mean to diss your faith. Can we just start with a clean slate on that?" Trying to explain it further would just kind of end up being messy, I suspect. What do you think?
