Welcome to pc. I know what I would do, and if you are questioning, so do you. Get away from the one who likes the drink. There is only more fighting and arguing on the horizon there and without doubt some other forms of abuse.

I left an abusive alcohol fueled marriage (we were seperated for 10 years but I stayed to look after him in his alcoholic state).

I met and made the best friend I have ever had. That relationship too got to the same situation so I left after my ex husband raised his hand to me. I couldn't really have made a better decision.

The life of peace and love that I live now is something I never knew existed at all. And because he is a friend that is even better.

I just hope you are happy and that you can see what does and does not make you happy and allow that to be your guide,
