When we upgraded the server recently, we left in a limit to filesize uploads which was much lower than the limit the photo gallery software had. What this means is that the gallery software would accept the image, but it would never get uploaded to our server.

We've now fixed this problem, I've tested it out on a large image, and it now works again.
