I am thankful for everything. While I may not like some of the trials I go through, I am still thankful that I learn and grow from each encounter. I am thankful for the support of friends and even strangers here at Psych Central. I am thankful that Uniformed Officers haven't shown up at my doorstep with news of my Army Officer son. I am thankful that I haven't had a midnight call about my other son or his family either. I am thankful that, even today, I could have a morning where I felt good enough to go out and support a local church flea market, and that I found bargains on things I can give away to Scouters. I am thankful for my wonderful service dog, and for wisewoman who gave him to me when he was just 8 weeks old. I am thankful for my home, my car, my good neighbors (and the nasty one too who keeps me on my "love your neighbor" toes.) I am thankful when the pain eases and I can realize that I really do enjoy living.
