interesting dream. i briefly looked at what lfmn posted from that dream site but mostly this is going by what my thoughts would be. i think a black moth with a little purple is something that is a dark, negative thing in your life but has the appearance of being noble or good (the purple). moths are destructive insects. e.g. they eat holes in our sweaters. it comes from the back of the car (a car is the direction of your life, your journey) so it is probably something emanating from your past that is now being brought to your awareness (the window). you have some trouble trying to get it out of the car i.e. something you are struggling to eradicate from your life and it eludes you as it goes to the other side of the car. the fact that it gets caught in the window sounds like once you gain insight & clarity (the window) into the moth then its influence in your life will be broken and squashed. this is a hopeful dream as this negative thing is eventually killed and removed from your life. just to clarify after now reading little's interpretation, i don't see the moth as being you but just a negative irritant or possible weakness in your life. so, it's destruction is a good thing.
if any of that resonates then great, but if not then let it fall to the ground. i've been praying a bit for you lately, girl.
