I was an in patient 3 years ago for 1 week. I have on paper a p doc ie dr Middleton, but my checkups are six monthly so its not a close relationship . My original dr i tried to take to court ,which i will tell you about in a while, first dr middltone an his fellow docs have new young p docs to train so you get one of them if he is busy There not theropist just p docs who give out meds just like your gp.to them you are a name on a file among thousands. When the p doc saw,me , i didnt look ill an i didnt want to change meds as i have tried them all bar anti phsch meds , it was just a case of see you in six months time.As for going down on sertraline if the med is failing then why would i not want to go down, i have tried going up so why not try going down as it may be at the moment to much.Meds are weird things, now my last p doc ??? I was close to a breakdown , my 4 th an worst, my p doc left as he was a locom an chaseing the money. I had a 10 week wait for a new appoinment has they had no docs, i was self medding on 12 ativan an a litre of brandy a day.the new 3rd world pdoc stopped both dead. Now anyone with half a brain knows how long 12 ativan takes to dtox an i was stopped cold. Put on 225 effexor a med that if looked on my med records says not suited to.Within 4 days i had overdosed through madness of dtox an put in mental hospital. there is a lot more to this an its not pretty so p docs to me are the pitts.
