You don't suppose that maybe you're trying to get this person to change, are you? It won't happen. The only thing you can change is how YOU respond to posts. You don't have to use the Ignore button, just don't read the posts by this person. If your thread gets hijacked by people not responding to you, then you can get the thread back on track with a gentle reminder.
