Welcome to pc. You need to do what makes you happy. But don't whatever you do make a decision based on what makes others happy.
If you only feel happy in service, that is different to "affecting" other peoples lives for personal satisfaction. If you are feeling stifled and smothered in your relationship then it is time to move on; living to make someone else happy isn't a reason to live or to be in a relationship,
