oh i hope you get an opportunity to be interviewed! i know with the job market like it is it's extremely frustrating and discouraging while looking. the good thing is you have great skills. hoping that all your efforts will become fruitful.
as for the big company offer...that is something i would consider cause it would get your foot in the door and i assume health benefits. if you do accept their offer i would make it contingent on a job review in 3 months for them to consider an increase in salary. also i would ask them what do they offer for employees being offered growth in job placement.
