I had my first ECT treatment today. I was very stressed until I went under anesthetic. When I woke up I didn't know where I was but as soon as the recovering nurse told me what I was there for my memory came back. I've had a slight headache this afternoon but no more memory loss. I highly recommend unilateral over bilateral electrode placement. I got back again Monday. I hope this works and that I get out of this terrible bipolar depression.
