I sympathize with you. we have no light pollution at night where we live. It's like stepping onto the milky way when we go outside and look skyward. The only time stars aren't visible is when the sky is overcast.

I'm sorry you can't see the sky without lamp glare aries. We had a neighbour who would complain that the street lamps were out; council would come and put a new globe in and then the guy next door would knock it out with his sling shot. We preferred it out because it would shine directly into our bedroom keeping us awake. So you have my sympathy
