The thing about love is there are different types and degrees. I have loved and still continue to love a lot of different people.

It's about admiring them in the strengths and understanding their weaknesses. It means compromise and understanding. With infatuation there is the idea that the person is untouchable and without fault. Love is aknowledging them and overlooking them. Infatuation is not having to compromise because you just want to please, not having your own mind. Love is being your own person and allowing the other person to do the same. Love is something that grows each day, always changing. Love is sticking with that person no matter what. Infatuation is giving up when the other person doesn't meet our expectations. With love, we set those expectations together. Love is taking risks. Of letting someone be nice to us or say a kind word or do a nice gesture. Infatuation is holding back from who we really are and living soley for that one person with no regard to self respect. Infatuation is wonderful, Love is hard.
