I dont work do to my illness so in england my meds are free, so you get what your given ,thats how it works. When working we have money stopped every week for the nhs ita called national insurance . i worked out i payed in, about £60,000 in my life at work. Sounds alot an it is but if i had a heart transplant or somethng costing £90,000 it will still be free.but an imigrant that starts work in this country say last week an pays national insurance, gets the same free treatment. If you work you pay £8 every item you need regardless of cost , but still pay your national insurance. Thats what there trying to do in america ,an you wont be able to choise your meds then//
