hi rainwater. welcome to pc.  i've never been told that by my T or pdoc and i'm bipolar. usually my previous pdoc would tweak my meds to shorten the duration of depression. it seemed to always work.
recently tho i went thru 2 months of severe depression but did not receive the care from my current pdoc. i was incredibly upset with his casual attitude. the new ways with insurance definitely play a part in this. my current T helped me the most.
