Thanks everyone. I appreciate your support and I feel almost 100% better!
I'm fearful that this "attack" will happen again. I'm watching what I eat. I don't eat fried foods, eggs or potatoes except every other blue moon. I drink skim milk and I'm big on broccoli and chicken stir frys with only clear liquids, no heavy sauces. I eat brown rice and refuse to give up coffee or diet coke!.
My problem are sweets. Ever since I stopped drinking, I've replaced those sugars with new ones. Any suggestions? Other than the obvious, of course.
