I have tried Vyvanse, Paxil, Wellbutrin, Prestiq, all to no avail.
Someone tell me that it will be okay. That it is not hopeless for me. Depression makes it almost impossible to get out of bed each day. I only manage it because I need to work in order to have a bed to not want to get out of!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Arrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhh!

Hey bro, it's not hopeless.
I was first diagnosed with Dysthymic Disorder ("Dysthymia") which is a form of chronic low level depression. I took Zoloft, Wellbutrin, Celexa amongst others-- This went on for years. NOTHING WORKED.
I kept getting into bad relationships with girls that just weren't right for me because of my ADHD. Many of them took advantage of me and I was too foolish to see it (rather untreated ADHD blinded me). I was almost married to one, someone who was super narcissistic and I lost everything I had because of that. That was like a year ago.

I discovered I had ADHD after a year of fumbling around in college (I'm still in college and I also work). I stopped all the anti-depressants and started seeing a psychologist (a therapist) who dx'd me as ADHD with an anxiety disorder. I was also depressed at the time due to everything. Not being dx'd or treated properly takes its toll and causes depression.

I take Vyvanse for the ADHD now, but I have taken Adderall XR in the past and it worked okay too. I think a problem is getting the right dosage. I also think you need to see someone-- a therapist to talk to who can help. Why go it alone?

Also perhaps your Vyvanse isn't the right drug for you. There is Ritalin formulas, Dexedrine formulas, Adderall formulas... also the right dose is important. I think for instance my Vyvanse is too high and I don't feel well. I don't focus I turn into Mr. Roboto.

Do you have insurance that will cover a therapist?
Thanks for this!
