My T and I have talked about mental health as being the ability to live in that middle place...between wanting and not wanting, between excitement and fear, between love and loss... That's where so much of life happens. It would be SO MUCH EASIER if we just felt one way, but I think in some ways, it would be less honest, and less real.
It's hard to be in that middle place, especially when it's new. But you are doing it.
