Welcome to pc. Maybe he doesn't want to see others so much as have his own space? Maybe the laws in your state give you half of everything after you have lived together for a certain amount of time and that is why he wants to keep it going but from seperate addresses. I'd be pushing to know why he wants this. Have you moved out already?

Maybe you should be having a heart to heart with him and then decide if you want to keep the relationship going, rather than just what he wants. I'll be honest if my partner said that to me I'd be rather hesitant. Relationships are a two way street not a one way.
