I am so sorry Teardrop. It is so hard to hear news like that. Please spend all the time with her you can, let her talk as much as she can about the past - so you will know as much about her as possible. As my Dad's health declined, we spent wonderful hours listening to him talk of his childhood, his siblings, his work, etc. We learned so much more than we had ever known (I was 49 when he passed away). It also gave him the chance to tell us things, knowing he might not have another chance. I was with him everyday for 9 months prior to his death - as we built a suite on our home for him and Mom. I CHERISH every second of those 9 months ! I was alittle nervous at first about whether to actually TALK about his dying, but we found it became easier, and HE needed to talk about it as well.

Crying is normal. The grieving process is different for everyone. Take it one day at a time, but through it all, remember to take care of YOU as well.

Prayers for you and your Mom.
