Did you start the Lamictal at 200 mg? I was started at 12.5 and increased 12.5 once a week until I was up to the proper dosage.
I know what you mean about your dogs. I'm the same way; I will do anything not to lose them. Hope plan "b" works for you!

Thank you all for your replies, I am working on coming up with plan B now...it's not easy because I have my dogs that I cannot lose. I have lost everything else and I am NOT going to lose them as well! I will live in a tent in the woods in the middle of winter before I give them up!
