Hi, lokipooh--I saw my psychiatrist yesterday for an extended visit--we do a one-hour every 6 or7 months. I was talking about trying to write a book with my dad, and the emotional difficulties of that--not to mention the logistical ones. What he said was, "Do what you do for yourself, not for what you think it will do for them. You can't know what they really need--sometimes they don't either." So...do what you do for yourself--for your best interests--with other people, for what good you can get out of it emotionally. Sounded like good advice to me.
Thanks for this!
