some meds do cause horrific dreams. I too tend to assign meaning to the content, even tho the dream may be just a way of waking, changing levels of consciousness, etc. Writing about the dreams is a great idea, and you could tear the paper up subsequently to prevent worrying about the possibility of it's being read. Narrative therapy is a very popular way of getting worrisome thoughts "out" so to speak
