I think it is interesting that you "couldn't stop yourself" from driving by T's house, when T was away and you shared it with all of us, made it public, before even emailing T? I would imagine that you are relieved that most responders here "approve" and say it will be all right, that T will understand, that it is just fine.

Were I you, I would try to do the opposite and see how I felt; I would drive by T's house when she was there, after I had told her I was going to do so and I wouldn't make it public.
