I am on a Lamotrigine generic, and got told if I start the titration process on this generic, I need to stay on it. Should I use another generic of the same drug, or want the original, I need to wean myself off and restart the titration process.

You have just gone against what every drug an medical health statment says. They say all generics of the original med are the same an safe. Every time we script are med,s in england it could be a different generic of the original drug. So you are saying we should wash out before we start a differerent generic of the original drug. I would be doing wash out every other week in that case Our meds are based on cost to the NHS so which ever is cheaper thats what you get.You are affectively saying every one on generic drugs in england are in danger . Because are meds are different generic on regular basis. Just think if everyone was on zoloft instead of sertraline which has hundreds of generics, THE NHS would crumble under massive dept. zoloft the original is 10 times the price of the generic.
