A lot will depend on each individuals thyroid function. Most psychiatrists check thyroid levels in blood work (they should anyway, mine always did). I found that while I was on depakote I gain a lot of weight. But the Lamictal and Abilify I have lost weight. I think some of these meds trigger the hunger part of the brain. I know research has been done on it; I think I will google it!
