trixielou, I am sorry about your migraines. I used to have them, and they could recur, but I keep a little migranal, a nasal spray, which seems to clear them up without narcotic use. That being said, I, too, am a recovering addict who takes darvocett 100 regularly for back pain. Try the migranal. It's effective for me and has nothing addictive about it, so far as I know. Blessings on you. I know about headache and nausea, which makes you unable to move without pain exploding. I care about you and hope that you find something. There are several migraine meds without narcotics, but migranal is just one of the few my insurance co will pay for. I once worked for a doc, who said that he effectively treated the migraines which he had during med school, but holding a hand to the temple on the side of the migraine, reducing the blood supply to that side of the head.
