Other sedating medications that I know of that can be used for mania and are also approved as mood stabilizing medications are Zyprexa and Risperdal. Also, Seroquel XR is available if you want to go that route too. For anxiety (as needed) you could ask your doctor about a benzodiazapine (anti-anxiety) medication such as ativan, xanax, valium, klonopin.

2 other medications I know of that can help sleep which are antidepressants are Trazadone and Remeron, but be careful because I wouldn't want you to switch into a manic state from taking them.

Of course, let the doctor know everything know that is going on so they know best how to help you.
