most people seem to think FM is heavily related to lack of proper deep sleep, which is certainly something i'm partial to hehe. apparently the deep sleep is where your pain receptors refresh or something and if you don't have that level of sleep you don't get refreshed and feel unwell.
i seem to sleep many hours at the moment but i never sleep deeply, it's always medicated sleep. and, of course, stress is a large factor in not getting proper sleep - as is pain, so vicious cycle really
