Same here in the USA. Many antiepileptics like lamictal, depakote, etc... when people switched to generic from name brand they had breakthrough seizures. That is why many docs are recommending you stay on brand if you started on brand. If you start on generic, you will probably stay on generic.
With most drugs the differences in bioavailability for a generic usually doesnt make a difference, but in rare cases it really matters!
