hi kitty chanel,

i used to have fierce anxiety about going to sleep. I know its so frustrating and scary. i tried a variety of techniques: leaving tv or radio on at a low buzz, leaving the light on, not sleeping with covers, sleeping on my back without a pillow, and finally sleeping with my mom. Eventually it went away on its own but sometimes I wake up terrified. THen I'll check my Iphone for emails, facebook postings, the news, etc. I also now have a cat. So when I wake up I usually see a cat staring in my face, and it's difficult to feel very scared when the cat is looking at me like i need to chill a little!
