I met with a friend who I hadn't seen in years the other day. She told me she remembered how she would go to sleepovers at my house. I just looked at her saying in my head -HUH?? I don't remember her ever coming to my house nevermind a sleepover. She even told me in detail what the room looked like in our basement (it was a finished basement). When I think of it I have had maybe one or two memories of a few classmates at my house playing outside one time. How does this happen? I have no memories of having anyone over to play growing up (other than a few images of those one or two times - a few times at grade school age). Anyone else have these big lapses of memory?? I remember being at everyone elses house but not any memories of being in my house with friends (the few friends I did have I had so I think I would remember).
