Do what you can, ask for help when you need it, try to laugh it off....as 'there I go again' and 'how can I surprise myself next?'

, and go on to the next thing. It will help take the pressure off. It happens and we can only do so much. Sometimes it happens even when there are no meds involved. Be really kind to yourself right now.
Ps. In addition to him telling you, have him write you a note too, see if that helps to remember for some things. Sometimes we just get distracted and we don't hear what someone has said or are not present when we are doing things, that we don't remember what we heard or did. This can happen when multi-tasking too. Slow down, one thing at a time can help as well; getting it the first time, saves panic later.
