Click on "QuickLinks" in the blue navbar, or hover over the "Forums" option in the main navbar and then choose "Who's Online." There you'll find a list of members who have been active or online in the community in the past 20-30 minutes.

PM one or two of those people to connect with them (via PM) if you can't use the chat rooms.

There's no reason to believe that, if we created a forum, anyone who was online would be constantly checking that forum every few minutes to see if someone has posted to that one forum.
