Yes a kitty staring me in the face would ground me
Though my girl doesn't do that..she'll either sleep under the covers or by my side. It is frustrating and scary and I think it may have been a part of for years and I thought of it as insomnia...or part of insomnia..I tend to leave the TV on and watch it when I don't want to go to the bed..but I can't sleep with sound on(I have to wear earplugs actually because I am a light sleeper)...so I put it off...what gets me to sleep is the meds..I take Benadryl and/or Xanax and that calms me down so I can sleep. Lately, it's been a different story waking up. I feel scared as heck, have nightmares...I am so sick of being nauseous and terrified as soon as I wake up. It affected the other end today and I got a surprise in my pants when I was watching TV on the sofa.
