So since our truancy case with our son went to court, my husband got let go of 2 jobs and had his apps rejected. We thought he got let go because of his Crohn's. Well the last job he was escorted out like a criminal. So today, that job we were waiting on to call called and said something did'nt checkout in the background check. So we got a look at it and it's because the truancy charge is listed as "unlawful transaction with a minor"!!! Well it ain't no damn wonder he ain't gettin no call backs! I called the county attorney in tears because that charge makes me and my husband look like child molestor or like we been getting kids drunk and high. He said "You need to get a personal attorney" I told him how can I do that without income? He hung up on me. So, I called legal aid and they can't do anything otherthan exspongement (sp?) and that's only after 5 years. I am so ANGRY at this system. My bro-in-law just got out of prison after serving time on a 2nd off. manufacturing meth charge not to count the domestic bttery and other drug charges and guess what? He got a job the 3rd day he was released. He lives at home with no bills and spends his effing pay on booze and pills. And here we set with 2 kids light bill due the 5th no money no christmas money and a truancy charge being treated like drug criminals or child molestors. This just makes me sick!!
