For one.. I would draft a letter that explains the actual charge for your husband to take to the next job interview. If there is a backgorund check then he can prempt the problem by explaining it. Not ideal but unless you can get it changed that would be better than not getting jobs

Also... call your state representative (whatever they are called in the US) and demand assistance somehow. Call the local newspaper and let them know what is happening. For pete sake... truancy? That is just skipping school, isn't it? ANd they charge people with that in criminal court? Omg... what a f**ked up system.

There are societies that fight for legal rights, etc... try researching those, or maybe someone can suggest one here... talk to the school maybe... explain what their brilliant logic is now doing to the family.
