I'm new to group.

Have had a tough time getting my career re-started after being laid off from a Fortune 500 company over three years ago.

About seven months later, we felt compelled to disrupt the adoption of our daughter, because she was out of control. Just learned today she is in jail.

Parents and only sibling have gone on to their reward. Husband and I are living in the Midwest. Former employer transferred me here. With all our troubles it has been difficult to make friends.

We have very little family, none of whom live anywhere near us.

We're trying to have quiet, low-key holidays.
