I was diagnosed with Depression and ADHD- I have been taking 75mg of Effexor for the depression and my doctor wants me to go on Ritalin in a couple of weeks.
Do these combine well? I have had a few side effects with Effexor (tiredness, nausea, dry mouth) but they are supposed to calm down soon, I guess.
Apparently the depression is a quite common result of the ADHD.
I've found the last few months quite challenging- Since going on the depression medication I have felt a lil zombified- I am not sure if it is me just being lazy or if it is the medication or the depression, but I haven't gone to work much lately.
I still have panic attacks- I had one in the supermarket before.
My doctor is not too concerned with the side-effects, he asked if I wanted to stick with the medication- I said yes, so I guess I just go with it, yeah?
Does this get manageable?
