The community is run as a part of Psych Central, which does not take donations because it is a for-profit entity and makes its money through online ads (like WebMD or any other health website).

However, last year we spun off the community fund drives we've been running for the past 4 or so years into a non-profit 501(c)3 charity called the Psych Central Community Connection. You can learn more about that organization and donate to it at:

Your donations help fund future fund drives for community members. In 2011, we'd like to try and ensure we do at least 6 to 8 fund drives for community members, to help in times of financial need.

If you're ever in financial need and could use a small personal grant, please check into the Psych Central Community Connection. Members have access to this resource, which is just one of the many benefits of membership in our community.
