i have SIing since i was 8yrs old and now i am 14. Satistics show 1 in 10 teenage SI in one way or another in there time between 13-19 also the people most at risk to SI are women between the ages of 14-19. so what i dont understand is why this isn't a matter that is talked about at school at all and i have never once been eduacted on the matter and yet people wonder why it is so comman.

Teachers see my scars and never think to mention on it but it a teacher over hears that you have ever consumed drug or alcohol illgeally or smoked under age they have to inform your parent. Whats the difference? they complain about SI but they dont do any thing to prevent SI at such a young age.

sorry for the rant.
