Yup, unobtainable is a real word. And hooray for good pdocs! I completely love mine. I have seen him for 7 years and he has never been anything but wonderful to me. He's given up his lunch hour or come in early when I'm feeling particularly bad and need to see him and that's the only time he could squeeze me in. Just the other day, after he ordered some bloodwork and it came back goofy, he faxed the results to my primary care doc and then PERSONALLY made an appointment for me to be sure I could get in right away! He's a great guy.
My therapist sounds like your pdoc -- I used to have one who just sat there and expected me to do all the talking, but this one gets me involved and I feel like I'm actually getting somewhere.
We're both lucky, I guess!
